Rachel Wood (@rmwood24) is an American soccer player for the Boston Breakers of the NWSL. She first played as a midfielder for Boston and recently switched to centerback due to her height. Prior to joining the Breakers, she played with HK/Vikinger in Iceland. A native of Laguna Niguel, Calif., Wood played in college at North Carolina and UC Irvine.

Athletes make mistakes all the time, but they typically don't make them just to let their coach know that they're mad or don't want to be there. Here, Wood talks about how she's learned through coaching that athletes want to succeed and do well which has taught her to try and help the athletes making mistakes improve.
