Sport Is Sport, Regardless Of Disabilities

Dan James (@Dgjames70) worked for the United States Tennis Association where he led the wheelchair tennis program coaching at 5 Paralympics. He played college tennis at Gustavus Adolphus College and began his coaching career under his head Coach Steve Wilkinson at Tennis and Life Camps. Dan James was formerly PCA-Seattle Executive Director.

James wants everyone to understand that sport is sport. Athletes want to inspire people by being competitors and being good people, not by being disabled. Athletes with disabilities are just people playing sports, and while they may be inspiring, they want to be looked upon in terms of who they are and what they are doing, not the conditions they have.
