Michael Connell is a former professional golfer who played on the PGA Tour (@PGATOUR). Connell atteneded Mississippi State University and now resides in Austin, Texas.

In this video, Michael Connell talks about letting his son decide when he wants to golf and what he wants to focus on. He mentions the importance of having his son lead the action. Sometimes Connell tries to point him in the right direction by suggesting a good coach or suggesting they work on some part of his son's game, but he stresses the importance of letting his kid make the decisions.

"No kid wants lessons or coaching from their dad, they want to beat their dad," Connell says.
