What It's Like To Play For A Great Team, The 1985 Chicago Bears

Ken Taylor (@TheSpeedDr) played for the Super Bowl Champion 1985 Chicago Bears and is now a private coach, specializing in speed training. He was a three-time Pac-10 Academic All America at Oregon State University as a football player and triple jumper/sprinter, while also earning a bachelors degree in exercise physiology and sport science.

Here, Ken recalls playing for the Super Bowl Champion 1985 Chicago Bears, one of the greatest sports teams ever. Practice was sharp "and sometimes heated."

While everyone knows a team is supposed to stick together, that team was notorious for the offense being separate from the defense coached by Buddy Ryan. Ken also recalls the transition from an underperforming team at Oregon State to a Bears team where was winning more normal, and he had to be reminded of what it took to win.
