How To Make Sports The Best 2 Hours Of A Kids Day

Brad Frost is the Head Coach for the University of Minnesota Women's Ice Hockey (@GopherWHockey) team. The Bethel University graduate has guided the Gophers to four NCAA national championships, six NCAA Frozen Four appearances, five WCHA regular season titles and three WCHA Final Face-Off championships. Frost concluded the 2015-16 season with a career record of 293-45-22 (.844) and has not had a team finish lower than second in the WCHA.

Frost emphasizes the importance of being focused on hockey while practicing and playing. Being a student-athlete and teenager can be an emotionally draining experience, so Frost makes sure that when his players step out on the ice, all other issues are left behind. This way, that time playing hockey can be the best parts of each players day. It is a coaches job to fill each players emotional tank within those two hours, not poke holes in it and let it drain out.
