Four-time Olympic Water Polo Medalist, Brenda Villa (@brenda4villa) is a PCA National Advisory Board Member. Villa spent her collegiate career at Stanford University, where she arrived as the nation’s top recruit, and graduated as a three-time All-America. She was named the Division I Water Polo Player of the Year, as well as winner of the Peter J. Cutino Award as the top female college water polo player in the United States and earned a Gold Medal at the 2012 Olympic Games in London.

As a student-athlete at Stanford, Villa was a student, athlete and National Team member. How did she manage her time? As she explains in this video, it all came down to making choices. Now that Villa is coaching, she tries to instill the same lesson in her players. She emphasizes that in order to get to where they want to go, they just need to make certain choices, whether that means doing homework instead of hanging out with friends, or choosing to go to bed early for practice the next morning. Pick up tips on dealing with feeling over scheduled with these time management tools.
