Boston Pride forward Christina Putigna holds the record for the most points scored by a Canadian player in a single season in the National Women’s Hockey League (NWHL) season. Putigna starred as a forward for Providence College from 2015 to 2019 and was drafted by the Boston Pride in 2019. After her rookie season, Putigna was selected to the NWHL All Star Team and has been re-signed by the Pride for the 2020-21 season.

Boston Pride president Colleen Coyne is an Olympic Gold Medalist (Nagano, 1998), coach, sports parent, and seasoned executive who knows and honors the game. After a standout career at the University of New Hampshire, Coyne went on to anchor the American defense on four different USWNT culminating in gold in the 1998 Olympics. Coyne, and the entire 1998 team, are members of the Hockey Hall of Fame. A believer in teamwork and positivity, Coyne gives back to the game by serving on the USA Hockey Board of Directors executive committee and by coaching youth hockey.

In this video, Christina Putigna and Colleen Coyne speak to the importance of having confidence in yourself and your team. They also briefly discuss the Boston Pride's season schedule.
