Triple Impact Competitor® On Loving Your Sport
Take A Course »
Abby Fisher, wrestler and softball player at Walt Whitman High School in Bethesda, MD, and winner of a PCA Triple-Impact Competitor® Scholarship, explains why it's important for student-athletes to love their sports.
Fisher’s underlying message is that any competitor has to love the sport they do or else it is difficult to excel. She especially learned this lesson through wrestling because wrestling against boys was very challenging. Despite tough losses, her passion and love for the sport is what kept her going.
