This video features Cleveland Indians Manager Terry Francona and former Cleveland Browns Head Coach Mike Pettine at PCA-Cleveland's inaugural Breakfast With The Coaches event in May 2014. FOX Sports Ohio's Matt Underwood led the discussion.

Francona is asked about his personal experiences with a father who was a Major League Baseball player. Francona praises his dad for always being his parent, never his coach. Conversations about baseball with his dad were always about whether he had fun and tried hard, and focused a lot less on the outcome in terms of individual statistics and scores. His father taught him to enjoy competing and to respect the game and the people who were involved.
