Steph Curry: When It's Not Overdone, Parental Support Goes A Long Way

Stephen Curry (@StephenCurry30) is a two time NBA Champion, two time NBA Most Valuable Player, four-time NBA All-Star, two time All-NBA First Team, two time All-NBA Second Team, and current player on the Golden State Warriors. While being a standout student-athlete at Davidson, he led his team to two NCAA March Madness bids, making it to the Elite 8 during his sophomore campaign.

Here, Curry discusses how, from a young age, the constant support of his parents allowed him the opportunity to learn the various lessons that sports can teach. Regardless of what sport he was playing, he felt the support of both of his parents, who " encouraged [him] to get the most out of it". He talks about how their silent (and not so silent) support from the sidelines gave him the confidence to push himself and really focus and embrace the importance of team.
