Mike Pettine On Loving The Sport

This video features former Cleveland Browns Head Coach Mike Pettine at PCA-Cleveland's inaugural Breakfast With The Coaches event in May 2014.
Pettine shares a message for all kids and coaches of sports: love the game. When kids are passionate about the sport, they work hard and play longer. This love of the game adds to the experience, and it's part of what he uses to evaluate prospective football players.
It's not enough for athletes to like what they get from the game; Pettine wants a team full of athletes who love the sport they play. As he says here, to coaches and players alike, "if you're going to get involved in a sport and put that much time into it, make sure that you love it."
