Here, Pettine talks about the importance of coaches keeping an even keel during games. He says players mimic leadership attitudes, so a coach who is emotional on the sidelines will influence how the athletes respond to ups and downs during the game. Pettine admits he struggled with that as a young coach, but he has since learned to stay calm throughout the game.
