Lon Babby, a PCA-Phoenix Board Member, is a Senior Advisor for the Phoenix Suns (@Suns). He is best known for his time as an NBA agent for some of the game's most respected sportsmen: Tim Duncan, Shane Battier, Ray Allen and others. He also spent over 35 years as an attorney, starting with the Washington Redskins, and is known today as one of the 100 most powerful people in sports.

Before becoming a Senior Advisor, Babby worked in management, as an attorney, and as an agent. No matter the role, his success and the teams success always depended on measuring and assessing not only quality talent, but quality people. While working as an agent, it was important to measure and assess the players based on attributes of their character. One way to evaluate quality people in this role was by asking his clients, who he already knew to have character, to observe character in others. In management, it is more difficult because there are so many different personalities and backgrounds- this is something Babby still works on daily.
