Kevin G. Shea, MD is an orthopaedic surgeon at Stanford University Medical Center and the Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital. Dr. Shea has authored more than 140 scientific papers and book chapters and is part of the PCA Leadership Council.

Dr. Kevin Shea explains the importance of warning athletes the risk of re-injury. After an ACL injury, athletes require 400-600 hours of careful planned exercise and a designed rehab program to assure high chance of sports return with low risk of injuring again.
