Conrad Ray (@cardcoachray) is a former Cardinal standout student-athlete and touring golf professional and is Stanford’s Knowles Family Director of Men’s Golf (Head Men's Golf Coach). During his tenure as head coach, Ray has led the Cardinal to 10 appearances in the NCAA Championships, including the school’s eighth national title in 2007.

In this video, Ray gives some tips to parents on how to keep your kids involved and interested in golf. Simple things like letting them ride in the golf cart, whack a few balls, and being on the course as a caddy are some ways to keep your kids active. Golf is struggling at a club level because it is often too product based on perfection instead of experiencing practicing on the the course. Ray believes that both aspects of practicing golf are important but should be addressed separately.
