Watch youth sport coaches from around the country put the principles from Play Positive and Positive Coaching Alliance to work with their athletes.

When the opponent does not Honor the Game or generally lacks sportsmanship, it can be tough for players to continue to play with respect. Watch as a youth lacrosse coach commends his player for continuing to honor his opponents, even when they are playing dirty. He teaches his players to ignore opponents' behavior whenever possible and to keep in mind that they can’t control what officials call. Coaches should recognize their players who maintain their own high standards of sportsmanship and Honoring the Game even when facing disrespectful opponents.
