A Dual-Focused Philosophy For Success
Chris Rotelli (@ChrisRotelli), Director of ADVNC, is one of the most accomplished lacrosse players of all time. Chris was a 3X NCAA All American, 2X First team All American, USILA Midfielder of the Year, 4X MLL All Star, 3X All ACC, ACC Player of the Year, and a 3X High School All American. In 2003 he led University of Virginia to an NCAA Championship, and was honored as the ACC Male Athlete of the Year, and the Tewaaraton Award, given to the nations most outstanding lacrosse player. With over 15 years of coaching experience, Rotelli’s goal is to help young players achieve their dreams.
Here, Rotelli shares his philosophy of wanting his players to leave the program as better people. Of course he wants to win games, but he also believes that focusing on those life skill and life lessons is the more important part of his job as a coach. Ultimately, this dual-focused approach has led to more wins on the scoreboard in his experience.
