Colt McCoy On David Thomas As A Triple-Impact Competitor®

Colt McCoy (@ColtMcCoy) plays quarterback for the NFL's Washington Redskins. As the starting quarterback for the University of Texas Longhorns from 2006–2009, McCoy won the 2008 Walter Camp Award, was the 2008 Heisman Trophy runner-up and was a 2009 Heisman finalist.

When asked who he has played with that represents PCA's Triple-Impact Competitor® model, McCoy talks about former Longhorns teammate David Thomas. McCoy's "big brother" on the team, Thomas was incredibly successful in college and professional football, but what impressed McCoy was the hard work and focus Thomas exhibited as he prepared for his role on the field. He helped young players, spent time outside of practice working on his skills, and was an incredibly strong leader. He was a great role model for McCoy when it was his turn to step up as a team leader."
