Tracy Smith (@ASUSkip) is the manager of the Arizona State University baseball team. His earlier collegiate managerial career included Indiana University, which he led to a College World Series, and Miami of Ohio.

In this video, shot at a PCA-Phoenix event that also included Grand Canyon University Manager Andy Stankiewicz, Smith welcomes pressure as a catalyst for better decision making and performance. While acknowledging that it can be easy to get consumed by external factors in this day and age, he explains that the right amount of pressure “in the right form, perceived in the right way” can make people more sharp and brings out their best qualities.
