College Coach Says Respect For Other Coaches Matters

Pat Fitzgerald (@coachfitz51), a PCA National Advisory Board Member, is the Northwestern University Head Football Coach. Prior to coaching, his College Football Hall of Fame career included twice being named an All-American, twice winning both the Bronko Nagurski and Chuck Bednarik Awards, and leading Northwestern to back-to-back Big Ten titles and a Rose Bowl appearance in the mid-90's.

In this video, Fitzgerald share that respect is key when it comes to relationships with other coaches, as all coaches ultimately have the same goal. If coaches can respect one another and communicate best practices, not only will their own coaching improve, but they can make the game better as a whole. Ultimately, if coaches continue to respect each other, everyone can contribute to making sports better.
