Advice For Youth Coaches From Chris Collins

Chris Collins (@coach_collins) is the Head Basketball Coach at Northwestern University. Before arriving, Collins spent 13 years as an assistant coach for Duke University, where he had starred as a player. He also worked closely with the USA Men's Basketball teams that won Olympic Gold Medals in 2008 and 2012.

In this video, Collins says, "The biggest advice to youth coaches is you wanna be demanding and tough, but at the end of the day you want your players to know you care about their well-being. This is how you get the best results. The trust must be there, the players must know you want the best for them at the end of the day. These types of relationships lead to success."
