Listen in as Positive Coaching Alliance goes 1-on-1 in interviews with top pro and college players, coaches, executives and other major sports figures who provide tips, tools, information and inspiration for youth and high school sports coaches, parents and student-athletes.

This 1-on-1 interview features Lindsey Gottlieb, PCA National Advisory Board Member and Assistant Coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers. Prior to her unprecedented NBA role, Gottlieb took the University of California Women's Basketball program to unprecedented heights after being hired in 2011, leading the team to its first Final Four appearance and first Pac-12 Conference Championship. She was named Pac-12 Coach of the Year, and was a finalist for the Naismith National Coach of the Year.

Jim Thompson (@JimThompson18), PCA Founder, talks to Gottlieb about her ability to find the right balance between academics and athletics, finding success on the court and success in the classroom, while empowering student-athletes to enjoy their experiences and letting their individual personalities shine. She answers questions on how she motivates her players to focus on the next play after a mistake. She also expands on why she thinks it’s so crucial for coaches to build relationships with their players off the court. Here's where you'll find Lindsay talking about featured topics:
