Jed Mettee is the Vice President of Marketing and Communications for Major League Soccer's San Jose Earthquakes. In this video clip, Mettee shares his thoughts on what parents should say on the drive home from a game. He recommends that you always reinforce that you enjoyed watching, no matter the outcome. Kids want to know that you’re proud and happy, and those reactions to a game will be contagious. If your child doesn’t talk about having fun, then you may want to find out about why, but always remind your child that you enjoyed watching.
