Take Advantage of Pressure Situations As A Goalie

Eric Eisendrath is a former Division One hockey goalie from Brown University and has experience as a soccer, lacrosse, and hockey coach. He also has 20 years of experience in sports television, covering every major league in professional sports and five Olympic Games.

In this video, Eisendrath talks about taking a positive outlook on pressure situations, especially as a goalie. He describes the importance of the mindset: viewing all challenges as an opportunity to shine rather than a problem, thinking of opponents as a gift, and testing yourself against your potential. As a former goalie and coach, Eisendrath has seen that encouraging appreciation for these types of atmospheres can decrease negatives from pressure and increase the focus on the positives of pressure situations.
