Joe Dumars is a former NBA Executive and All-Star player for the Detroit Pistons. The NBA Sportsmanship Award is named the Joe Dumars Trophy, and in 2006 he was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
Always work to be humble. You can be an incredible competitor and be humble at the same time. That’s what I always strove to be.
Video Transcript: In my household, you heard the word ‘humility’ every single day. Be humble, be humble. I don’t care what you do, you can be an incredible competitor and be humble at the same time. I fashioned myself with that. I felt like that I was who I was at all times.
