Take A Course »
PCA National Advisory Board Member, Paul DeJong (@RealPaulDeJong) plays for the St. Louis Cardinals as shortstop and second baseman. He made his MLB debut on May 28, 2017, hitting a home run on his first swing at-bat. Later that season, he earned the NL Rookie of the Month in July 2017.
In this video, he discusses how he prepares for the baseball season. He mentions his focus on what’s ahead instead of thinking about what occurred the game before. He stays physically and mentally focused through running a usual routine each game day. He shares his routine on once he arrives at the ballpark and how this leads him to feel ready to execute at game time.
