Lawrence "Trooper" Johnson, a wheelchair basketball coach for Berkeley, CA's Bay Area Outreach and Recreation Program (@BORP_org), explains how coaches get attached to their athletes. He explains how natural it is for coaches to care so much about their athletes' progress in sports and in life and that coaches should emphasize that commitment to their players so that they all feel the highest level of support from their coaches.
