Matt Hayden (@MattHayden_) presently works as PCA's Business Development Manager for Chapter Expansion. Prior to PCA, Matt primarily worked in baseball. While earning his degree in Sport Management at Kennesaw State University, he was a member of the Atlanta Braves promotion team. Upon graduation, he took an internship with the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. He also worked in the sales and marketing departments for Minor League Baseball's Lakewood BlueClaws and the Kane County Cougars.

In this video, Hayden talks about the values that should be associated with youth sports. Kids should be taught to compete and strive to win, but this should be done so carefully. They also need to be taught the many lessons that come with succeeding and failing while playing sports. Coaches and parents should not put winning as the primary goal in youth sports. It can and should be a goal, but it is very important to understand that there are far more important lessons that should be taught through competition.
