Denver Broncos On Next Play Mentality, Overcoming Adversity, Dedication

Former Denver Broncos Player Ryan Harris spent some time with four members of the Denver Broncos (@Broncos) (@BroncosOffField) to talk about working through mistakes, and adversity, and what it takes to succeed.

Broncos Wide Receiver Tim Patrick addressed mistakes, noting how important it was to have a 'next-play' mentality when working through mistakes. As Patrick noted, once you recover and make a good play after a mistake, everyone forgets the mistake anyways.

Garett Bolles and Justin Simmons touched on adversity, noting that adversity is always consistent in life and in football, and it's how you respond to it that either "makes you or breaks you." To each of them, reflecting on times they've had to overcome adversity in the past helps them in overcoming the adversity of the present.

Finally, Harris asked defensive lineman Adam Gotsis what it took to succeed in football growing up without a culture (in Australia) that was so different from the US. Gotsis explains that no matter your background or where you come from, dedication, and profound dedication at that, is what allowed him to make it in the NFL.
