Basketball Practice Plan For Coaches Of High Schoolers (Jr. NBA MVP)

The Jr. NBA (@jrnba), a PCA National Partner, is the NBA's official youth basketball participation program for boys and girls ages 6-14 that teaches the fundamental skills and core values of the game at the grassroots level to help grow and improve the youth basketball experience for all. PCA played an integral role in helping develop the Jr. NBA instructional curriculum.
The curriculum features four levels – Rookie, Starter, All-Star, and MVP – that provide proper instruction to youth players at every level of skill development.
At the MVP Level, players will begin competing more frequently in order to apply and refine the skills they have developed. Players will also begin to specialize and fit into more specific roles and positions. Team tactics and game strategy will also be further implemented in the MVP Level.
