This 1-on-1 interview features PCA National Advisory Board Member and President and CEO of the Toronto Blue Jays, Mark Shapiro (@MarkShapiro). At the time of interview Shapiro was in his 22nd season with the Cleveland Indians, and as President he oversaw the Baseball and Business Operations Departments. Shapiro also serves as board chair for PCA-Cleveland.

Jim Thompson (@JimThompson18), PCA Founder, talks to Shapiro about everything from Moneyball to the power of organizational culture to the youth sports parenting experiences that brought him into the PCA Movement. He’s a firm believer in coaches getting to know players and investing in their development. He believes one's character is defined by responses to failure or setback and that remaining positive is paramount to success.
